“My husband and I have been at several rental properties and this one is one at the top of our list. Everything was so clean and as described on the listing. I did however miss the fact that there was no television but I had my iPad and speaker so we were able to stream some shows in the evening. Everyone we spoke with was very pleasant and helpful. It was also such a huge plus that we could bring our X-large dogs as it can be hard to find places that will accept them. We will definitely be……

“My wife has been dying to sleep in the shoe for 30 years. She nearly died when she discovered her birthday surprise of a weekend in the shoe house. We had so much fun doing shoe themed activities and eating foot/shoe themed things. I think it's so much fun to be able to say we slept in a shoe. We had an absolute blast!”

“We had a great stay! The cottage was the perfect spot for a weekend getaway that was dog friendly. It was clean and the hot tub and firepit were great amenities. Only thing was that the backyard was not completely fenced for the dog, but she still loved it. We would definitely stay here again. ”

“This was our 4th time staying in the Bird House and we had another enjoyable time. We love the country location it makes us feel like home. This time we enjoyed the York Herb and Garden Festival on Friday and spent a lot of time visiting the Amish Greenhouses. We cook most of our meals to spend time with our dogs but we did order take our from Caruso's Italian Restaurant and it was great and only 5 minutes away so still very hot when we arrived back to the house. “What a lovely home. I stayed here with my mother-in-law who was 91 and my husband. We would be happy to return to this lovely home which was so well supplied. There were were more towels than we could possibly used, extra pillows, wonderful kitchen supplies and loads of snacks and breakfast provided. Everything was clean and and just lovely.”

Not only was it a convenient 3-minute drive from the venue, but we were very close to downtown Lancaster and all the weekend festivities. Having our own private entry was a bonus due to our early flight home on check-out day. Catherine was quick to respond to any inquiries and was a gracious host. Would highly recommend this quaint apartment for your next stay!”
