“On arrival we turned the quilt back and noticed there were a few black hairs on the sheets and pillow case. We thought they had not been changed. The owner thought it must of been from the laundry and came and changed them within ten minutes. Very friendly and the location is excellent, we were given advice on the best places to eat and drink which was very helpful. Overall we enjoyed the stay and would stay again, well worth what they charged nice and cosy. Shower was a little small but did the……

“East House is a lovely old property. We had a large room with a great view across farm fields (there were cows!), and the sea, you could also see Dunstanburgh castle in the distance. The host was really welcoming and friendly. Despite what it says in the description the beds are fully made up and there is a good supply of towels in the bathroom so you don’t need to bring sheets etc. nice touches in the room included a kettle, coffee, fresh milk, cereals, biscuits, shampoo, hair conditioner,……

“We enjoyed a fantastic 2 night trip over the bank holiday weekend. This was a lovely place to stay, beautifully decorated throughout, VERY comfortable beds, very clean. Its in a peaceful location (2 minutes from the Chillingham cattle visitor centre). Our host Mhairi couldn't have been more thoughtful or welcoming during our stay. “Room was lovely and cosy, clean and did the job for our two day stay. TV was a bit hit or miss. Only one small mirror in bathroom but no electric socket near the bathroom for drying or straighening hair, mirror in actual bedroom would have been very beneficial.”

“We stayed for a friends wedding, the Garden Rooms are absolutely stunning and were a stones throw from the wedding venue (Newton Hall). The beds were so comfy, the grounds were immaculate and it was a short walk down to the most gorgeous beach! Breakfast was also delicious, we will be back!”
