“I was so surprised to get into such a cute, well-priced get away with only a month's notice. It is tourist season in Alaska afterall. Quiet and comfortable with easy access to the town, I loved my stay. I thought I was going to experience a bear sighting on the first day when some bushes started shaking pretty vigorously, but it turned out to a large bunny who nibbled his way across the yard. It was the kind of wildlife encounter I can appreciate. I would definitely recommend this cottage.”

“This place is perfect for people who want to be right on the water and spend most of their time outside exploring. The space and ambiance was functional and comfortable if not a little outdated. “This very well maintained property has an ideal location! My sons loved having a separate space and we all enjoyed sitting out on the upper deck the first day with ice cream we got from the shop 2 doors down. Safeway grocery and a great laundromat are just a quick 10 minute drive and a fishing lagoon is across the street or walk 10 min and fish on the end of the Spit. “This property was selected for it's size, fresh open floor plan, light airiness, kitchen and living room; the home did not disappoint! Pictures are, as home was seen. While a few kitchen mainstay tools were missing (new home, understandable) and there was some laundered sheet confusion (all easily fixed), this property is 100% a gem and highly recommended.
