“The only problem we experienced in this glorious place is that we didn't stay long enough. Sandra and Al (and assorted critters -- love them all!) are the perfect hosts; generous and helpful, friendly and available, yet respectful of privacy. The property itself is just amazing! We didn't want to leave those beautiful sunsets, the quiet of a private beach, the farm-like feel of the fruit and nut trees, etc. I'd give this a 10 of 10, easily, and recommend a long stay here for any travelers……

“This house never disappoints! We ”

“Sunnyside Beach House was perfect for our group of four adults. The description of the house is right on target and located near West End and West Bay (which we visited several times). The snorkeling was fantastic!The property manager, Vanessa, was very prompt in responding to all our questions and requests….such as arranging our visits to Mayan Princess Resort (Santos took very good care of us).We rented chairs in West End from Anita for an extremely reasonable price (located near Ginger’s……

We didnt want to stay in the tourist-heavy part of Roatan and instead chose to look in the east side of the island. Jonesville Point is a perfect rural area that feels local. The house sits across from access to the mangroves, and beach front to the ocean. The best kept secret? The snorkeling is literally in the front of the house! We had no need to book a tour, or go out on a boat... we simply……

“We were 4 couples for 10 days, excellent walking location to everything we needed, Very comfortable space inside, kitchen is well equipped, the covered deck area was very beneficial so we could be outside in rain or sun, outdoor shower was convenient, great beachfront area with shade was a big bonus, all communications with host before & during our stay were promptly answered, no surprises or disappointments.”

“Ocean One was a dream. Beautiful condos and very clean. Luis the property manager was very friendly and was able to get us a private driver to get us to and from the airport and also on a tour of the Island. Highly recommend this place. ”

“Was such a beautiful spot and the pictures of the view do not give it justice. It was breath taking! The owner was very nice and gave us rides from the ferry to the house and even to the airport for our departure. It was short drives from the house to most of west end and west bay and other fun attractions. ”

“The property is clean, spacious and has everything you need to be comfortable. The amazing owner communicated with us before and during our stay without delay. She made excellent recommendations and went out of her way to be sure we were comfortable. The condo is a short walk from the waterfront, down an unlit road. However, you pass resorts that have security and we never felt unsafe. The pool was a welcomed oasis after a long day at the beach. Great hot water and water pressure, firm but comfy……

“We all loved Casa Familia! We were met by the property mananager with friendly, full details about the property and immediate response to a couple questions during our stay. Location is great with a short walk to the beach or use of the golf cart. Also enjoyed the private patio and pool area.Appreciated the owners reaching out during our stay to make sure everything was as expected. Highly recommend!”

“Beautiful home!! Roatán never disappoints and this home was perfect for our group! The rain got us a couple of days but the home layout and the palapa outside allowed for us to stay comfortable even when having to stay home. They made the recommendation to use Chef Robby for a birthday celebration and that was a great experience and a highlight of the trip. Desiree was always very responsive and helpful. “We had a lovely stay for 9 days. The pool area was really nice to spend time at when the baby was napping. Beds and sofas were comfortable. Location was good. We had a car which was helpful but you could walk to beach and many places to eat as well. We have a couple minor requests at beginning of trip and Gladys was very attentive and prompt in resolution. ”

“This beautiful property is exactly as described. We spent 2 weeks here in December/January with our adult children. Every morning we had coffee on the porch looking at the ocean and listening to the waves. The kids went diving with the dive shop right at the resort. We had security around the clock and always felt completely relaxed and peaceful. It is a beautiful place and we would love to return someday!”
