“Very happy with our stay.”

“Strong dog smell, dirty shabby condition of interior surfaces. Obvious makeshift repairs, spongy floors, torn, flaking couch. Kitchen counter had multiple burn marks and some sticky substance, corner held down with duct tape. Screen door off tracks, laying against wall. Wife was stung by insect in the unit, had to go to hospital. We moved out after only 3 hours, and literally slept in the car rather than go back. Owner uncaring, rude and greedy. Slow to return security deposit. I've……

“This was my first stay at the Williams Inn and I found it the coziest hotel I've stayed at! The furnishings are lovely and the lobby area very inviting (especially in the winter when the fire is always going). There's also - unfortunately, I didn't discover this until the end of my stay - a little nook area off to the side with books, games, and complimentary fruit water. The rooms were lovely and clean. The bathroom and shower were mostly clean except for some black spots near the bottom of one……

“The environment is beautiful, the location is good, the transportation is convenient, the room is comfortable and sanitary, the service staff is very warm, is willing to provide all kinds of help, breakfast is abundant. The facilities are very humanized, the network high-speed signal is good, the scenery outside the window is good. The design of the room decoration is also very distinctive. “The outdoor fire pits and setting areas looked like a blast but it rained so we didn’t get a chance to hang outside. Next time! ”

“Cozy cottage. Very clean and everything you need is there. Nice kitchen and fireplace. Lots of room and 3 bathrooms as well. Reasonably close to the ski mountains. ”

“We had a lovely stay at the Ira Allen House. Breakfast was hot and delicious and Mike accommodated our gluten free needs from fresh pancakes to homemade cookies. We will definitely be coming back on our next trip to Vermont. ”

“We needed a room for four of us to get some sleep before getting out on the slopes the next day. Starlight Inn was perfectly located along our drive. The owners were lovely, seems to be a family owned business. The room was comfortable, clean, and nostalgic. Would stay again! ”

“The property at South Shire is beautiful and quiet. We have stayed at a few places in Bennington and it can be hit or miss. The bed in our room was very comfortable and there was also a fireplace and a deep spa tub. Just know that if you book a room for 3 and it is not specified that there is more than one bed they will have to pull in a mattress.”

“Good affordable place, 1hr drive from Ski resort. It has microwave, fridge, easy to stay with kid. Only sink in the room which is missing in the bathroom, don’t get it, but it is ok. Good stay”

“I enjoyed everything except out noisy neighbors upstairs and found the temperature in our room a bit too cold for my liking. But other than those two things, we enjoyed out stay very much.”
