Each guest has shared access to the common room, housing the kitchen and sofa. On check in (after a long on-line book in process (crashing server)), the common room was inhabited with other guests, who were cooking tea. The bins were overflowing and the place generally stank. “We had an excellent 7 nights here due to the mostly warm and sunny weather and to the up-to-date, clean, nature of the Loft cottage and its facilities. There were only a couple of minor issues, the main one of which was finding the cottage on arrival in Challaborough. We arrived from the Bigbury direction and missed the cottage completely due to no Follyfoot sign being visible from this direction and the instructions assuming arrival from the other Ringmore direction.
