“Fantastic Sunday lunch and overnight stay. Had a late lunch and a very relaxed afternoon looking at the beautiful view before moving to the fireside sofas for an evening of board games, cheese and wine. Fabulous staff, lovely room. Overall a wonderful short break. ”

“A friendly greeting and offer of help with our luggage was a great start. This is a modern hotel with superb views over the Salcombe Estuary. The room was very comfortable with all as you would expect. Mini bar, tea making, coffee pod machine etc Complimentary Salcombe gin and tonic on arrival plus ice delivered each night was great. The staff were excellent and helpful. A great Spa and pool. High standards set by friendly staff”

“Room was small but very tidy, it had everything we needed. Bed wasn’t the comfiest but ok for one night. The view was amazing, high over other houses the countryside stretched for miles. Don’t book if you don’t like heights. Unfortunately there was something making a noise all night (heating, A/C, water) I don’t know what but it sounded like a heart beat all night long and kept me awake. Check in was super easy, the bar/ restaurant was clean and friendly. The breakfast was really good the staff……

“Right on the waterfront at Dartmouth with great views. Warm welcome on arrival, nice room (smallish but fine) with beautiful window space. Didn’t get up in time for breakfast so couldn’t comment - but a lovely stay, highly recommended. ”

“Good position in Dartmouth. Very helpful lady from Falmouth on the Bar but not enough staff at breakfast. May be noisy in the summer but very convenient for town, restaurants and shops. Good to see they have Jazz entertainment on occasions.”

“The Inn was comfortable and there's a car park nearby. There's a pub at the ground floor and another one opposite the inn. A supermarket is about 100-200 feet away so it's quite convenient. You can reach southern Devon's costal attraction within an hour's (by car). A natural reserve is also very close.”

“This is an absolute bargain - without in any way belonging in the bargain basement! A brilliant location with harbour and town centre on your doorstep - not sure how it is if you have to park your car etc. A quirky, historic house with some signs of wear but very clean, restful and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent breakfast, perfectly cooked to order, and a real pleasure to linger over. Grateful to hosts Mark and Adele for my overnight stay in Brixham. Would definitely use it again and……
