“Wonderful stay with Jess and her family. They were friendly and helpful. Their backyard is my dream.... Pool, hot tub, fire pit, grill, beautiful flowers and greenery. We used the fire pit and hot tub (wonderful and clean). The cartage house was clean and comfortable with plenty of towels and everything you need, even condiments in fridge (and coffee!!). We slept well. We definitely recommend this spot to others and will be returning when able!!”

“The cottage was terrific as were the hosts, checking on us to ensure we understood how use the mini-split heating/cooling system. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The cottage is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The kitchen is extremely well equipped. This is the 3rd review I've submitted! ”

“I stayed at Butterfly Cottage for several weeks during a work assignment in the area. Going back to Mount Gretna every evening was much better than a hotel, and the hosts of Butterfly Cottage thoughtful, communicated well and made sure the cottage was clean and well-appointed. I look forward to coming back soon.”

“Our stay at the Cherry Cottage as lovely and functional! We planned a surprise party and prepped menu in the well equipped kitchen. A perfect location for day trips to Hershey, Lancaster, and Pennsylvania Dutch Country!”

“our girls weekend was really great. the house was very cabin feeling had everything we could possibly need. Although we didnt cook there was plenty of pot, pans, cups to use if we needed. we haad a great time even sitting out back as we started our day, or in the evening as we made our way back to the house. I would recommend staying here and would even book again if we come to the area again.”

“My friends and I spent 3 nites at this cute little cottage. The location is terrific! Everything was spotless. The beds were very comfy, plenty of blankets nice pillows. We loved going back to the house after a hard day of shopping and playing. The cottage is on a main road so there was some traffic we enjoyed hearing and seeing the buggies go by. The traffic noise quiets down at night. The hosts were quick to respond to texts and we even got a delicious loaf of bread and some home made peanut……

“I've lost count of how many times we've stayed at Mt. Culmen....maybe 7? 8? Needless to say, we keep going back. Twice a year we've made this our sanctuary to connect and rest. We are forever grateful to Michael and Janae, and especially Michael this trip, who came out at 10:30pm to help stop a chirping alarm! THANK YOU! We'll be back in the fall.”

“This was our 4th time staying in the Bird House and we had another enjoyable time. We love the country location it makes us feel like home. This time we enjoyed the York Herb and Garden Festival on Friday and spent a lot of time visiting the Amish Greenhouses. We cook most of our meals to spend time with our dogs but we did order take our from Caruso's Italian Restaurant and it was great and only 5 minutes away so still very hot when we arrived back to the house. We would highly recommend it and……

“We had a short stay to extend our week from another rental. It suited our purpose of having a place to put our heads at night. Cottage is well lived in with some repairs needed. Very animal friendly which was a bonus for us traveling with a dog. Most supplies available (no toaster). Shower only. Parking is located at nearby church and house is short walk down a path connected to lot. This is where we unloaded and carried our stuff to and from. In the summer there is more activities available and……

“Three Knocks is a lovely cottage. It is tastefully done in a simple cozy way. All your needs are met and everything is so clean. The location is lends itself to plenty of walks thru the nature in Mount Gretna camp meeting. There is one parking space and it is close to First Street for additional parking. The porch is a wonderful place to sit and read nd converse with friends. I enjoyed time catching up on life with a friend. I would recommend a stay here.”

“Great place to unwind, unplug, and getaway. We had a great weekend fishing and sitting around the fire and in the hot tub at night. So peaceful. The only thing we could hear at night were cows mooing!”

“The house had all the conveniences of home. Within walking distance of the Tabernacle, Jigger Shop, Playhouse, tennis courts, the Hideaway & playground. Rails to Trails within 1 mile. The parking spot in back of the house is a bit tight but ok for a smaller car. I would recommend bringing bottled water.”

“The house was BEAUTIFUL. It had a well stocked kitchen and comfy living area, two big things for our group. The entire house was decorated beautifully. We wish we had time and appropriate weather to enjoy the porch. This is the perfect little cottage especially if you want a weekend away from city life. It is a short distance away from Blur Marsh Lake which has lots of good trails. ”
