“Very nice hotel. The breakfast is good too the only thing is that there is no little refrigerator in the room and no cups in the bathroom. The room is nice and the beds are nice, clean, and comfy. I’m so glad the hotels don’t use bed spreads and bed skirts on the bed anymore. My husband and I go here all the time when we go to the Mohegan Sun it very close.”

“Everything is "unique" about Captain Grant's!...The perfect hosts Carol and Ted; the ambience; the beautiful furnishings; the cozy room with all the amenities; the absolutely fabulous breakfast w/ mimosas, pancakes with real maple syrup and blueberry topping on a exquisitely, complete totally antique, setting table arrangement; all the available extras...beer, wine, coffee. tea, brandy in the room, etc. A most wonderful experience”

“I greatly enjoyed my weekend getaway. Al was very professional and polite and even upgraded my room. It was very clean and I loved the aesthetic of the hotel. It felt like staying at a relatives house. It is located in nature and I experienced being within a few feet of deers on the property, which was a beautiful sight. I will definetly be back.”

“Stayed here for two nights while spending a weekend at the casino. It’s close to Mohegan Sun, only about 12 minutes away and saved me a lot of money. 24 hour mini mart next door too. The husband and wife (owners?) were really kind and friendly. It was quiet, the room was clean, fridge and microwave. It was a great deal and I would definitely stay here again next time I go to the casino overnight rather than pay full weekend rate at the casino which is like $500-600 a night. ”
