“We were in town for our son’s graduation from VCU and stayed at this property. Everything about the place and the experience with Mainstay was awesome.The place was super clean, the beds comfortable, the kitchen nice and open and the wifi was super fast. The neighborhood was quiet, safe, friendly and close enough to walk to several restaurants in minutes. Communication with the property management team was easy. Any question I had was replied to in minutes and they happily met a request we made……

“The River House at Claremont was one of the best properties we have ever stayed in. I am a huge Gone With the Wind fan and this property brought you back to the South prior to the Civil War all we needed were ball gowns to make it really authentic. The house was well appointed with the necessaries (toilet paper, tissues, and toiltetries). In addition the kitchen pantry had salt, pepper, flour and other staples. The interior of the house is amazing with much of the furniture handmade by the owner……

“We had a lovely stay in Deena’s cottage. The cottage was super convenient to the car ferry, and we took many fun trips into Williamsburg and Jamestown with the kids. We enjoyed the private slice of beach right outside the cottage and kayaking with the kids in the river. Deena was incredibly communicative and knowledgeable and the check-in/out process was seamless. The cottage was well-appointed and the kitchen well-stocked and had everything we needed. All in all, the cottage was a perfect……

“We were in Richmond for my son's wedding at The Valentine. The home's location was perfect for everything we did. The home is very inviting and very comfortable. It was just as described in the listing. The beds are all extremely comfortable, the shower had great water pressure, and we had plenty of room. It was very quiet at night, which was great.We did not bring our Lab with us, but he would have loved the backyard!Whenever we travel back to Richmond, we will definitely plan to stay here……
