“Schmuckes Hotel in schöner Lage an der Mosel. Zimmer top gepflegt und gut ausgestattet. “Asked for and received a Rhine river facing balcony room. Well worth the extra cost. Desk staff was pleasant and always helpful. Beer & wine available in lobby area which is also where an excellent breakfast is each morning with indoor and outdoor seating. Short walk to Deutches Ecke. “I slept very well for the night. We were on the top floor, and I was able to have the window open for fresh air, it was nice. It’s a basic room with a tiny shower, but it worked! The owner was gracious, for we were there for a very short stay and didnt get to enjoy her beautiful dining room and breakfast, it looked marvelous!”
