“We loved our little but spacious cabin! The location was great for what we were looking for which was to be close to the caves. Unfortunately the weather had turned very cold during our trip and we didn't get to enjoying the disc golf or trails there at the cabin but plan on staying here again this coming summer.”

“Every amenity was provided, and the tiny cabin conversion was absolutely cozy and perfect for the two of us to have a romantic little getaway. We were a little startled at the closeness of other homes, but it was no bother at all for the quiet and remote seclusion when we settled in. Absolutely loved our stay and would definitely come again. ”

“We loved our time spent at Lake Tails! The house was perfect, clean & fully stocked with everything we needed. The layout was a perfect fit for our large family and allowed plenty of space for everyone to be comfortable. The hosts were great took, and quick to respond when we had questions. We would definitely stay again.”

“we enjoyed the location for its quiet country setting. all amenities were just as listed. only down side for my group was the age of our group. stairs were not our friend. However that being said we loved the porch and the quiet location. the ability to gather around the large kitchen table and dine was awesome. I would reccommend this and i think we would book again knowing what we need to expect with the stairs”

“Fit 10 people more than comfortably. If you’re expecting to be on a lake, pleas read reviews. It’s nearby and we went fishing but wouldn’t call a lake view. We knew that going in and love the experience. ”

“We had a lovely, peaceful stay at this house. The deck was amazing, the views were spectacular. We enjoyed waking up to see deer, squirrels, chipmunks, birds and more. The fall color and fog rising off the water just added to the beauty. It was close enough to Mammoth Cave that we made trips on two separate days quite easily. The kitchen enabled us to make several meals. I will say one of the showers was a little on the tight side for my husband, who is over six feet, but it was manageable.……

“ The proximity to the things we wanted to do made this a good choice. We enjoyed the layout of the place, esp. the porches to enjoy coffee and watch wildlife. Our bed was was comfortable as well, very important to us. Appreciated the washer/dryer! A note to navigation: Having read another of the reviews that expressed concern about Hilltop Road, we found Jaggers Rd to be a great option as it is paved. ”

“This is our second time staying here we really love this place it has beautiful views always clean and has everything we need to make our stay enjoyable the owner is very good to work with and messages back very quickly if you want to visit the area I would recommend this place we will be back again for our 3rd trip in the fall ”

“This property is AMAZING!! Quite, private road, perfect view of the lake, the 2nd patio was my place to be in the morning. The sunrise was breathtaking, even seen a shooting star! The bedrooms....there is so much room!! Definitely coming back with my entire family for a longer time to enjoy the house and all it has to offer. A weekend isn't long enough!!”
