“We have been renting houses for Christmas for years now and this one is perfect. Some of my crew is getting older and a couple have serious knee issues. I have never found this size of house all on one level before. The view is grandiose. We live in the mountains and the ascension can be quite tricky. This was fantastic. Every commodity you can think of or necessity/want is handled. Communication is instant. House is comfortable and specious. If wanted kids can be in one room , adults in……

“We were lucky enough to stay here this past week with our family from out of town. We were able to host my wedding and it was absolutely perfect. The kids were able to use the paddle boats and loved being able to fish everyday. We have already talked about booking for another family vacation next year! We’ve never stayed anywhere that provided anything and everything we could have needed! 10 out of 10! ”

“Beautiful place”

“Upon arrival we had to walk the lodge to find someone to assist us with checking in. After the person we found made a call to find out where our room key was, we had to drive back to the gate house to pick them up. Our room was changed to a king, which was fine. However, there was a space heater going when we arrived and it had to stay on overnight due to being cold in the room. The water in the shower never heated up past luke warm. There was no one around in morning to find out about……

“Beautiful, peaceful setting away from it all. Great for golfers & equestrians. Has a nice restaurant & bar on the premises (not open every day). Very good food and nice view overlooking the pond. About 1/2 hour drive from Lake Lure, Chimney Rock & Tryon. Friendly, helpful staff!”

“We loved the breath taking panoramic views of the mountains! The kitchen was well equipped for all our cooking needs. The house was a great size with plenty of outdoor space with seating. The beds were comfortable. The host was helpful with things to do in the area and responded quickly about inquiries. Beautiful area to take our morning walks.”
