“I planned a family reunion but this house was not ready and did not have the facilities promised for our event. There was a power outage the days before I arrived, but the owner told me he was able to get the cleaner there and everything would be ready. Instead I found the fridge full of rotting food, the dishwasher was full of dirty dishes and smelled horrible and there was no dishwasher detergent. The counter still had crumbs and spills under the appliances, so nothing had been moved to……

“…. Well, not exactly in “woods” but a very private setting , and for this “nature lover” traveler it was a great find. The private waterfall was amazing and I could hear it with windows opened and to see the Lake from my perch out the bedroom door was awesome also. It is cabin-like and not modernized - almost like it is stuck in time - but it was a warm and cozy place to come back to after day time site seeing - visiting Cornell, Ithaca, tons of parks and waterfalls - lots to do and see in……

“The yurt was exactly as advertised. We enjoyed the wood burning stove almost every night, played lots of puzzles and games, and enjoyed sightseeing in the area. We would have enjoyed getting to know the sheep and chickens a little (we were visited regularly by two handsome black kitties), but alas we couldn't find a time. Next time!”
