“This place is absolutely sweet. The apartment & grounds are beautiful, clean & had everything we could possibly need. It was in a great spot located close to the hiking trails we did, wineries & downtown Ithaca. Our host Vickie was so thoughtful & welcoming, checking to make sure we had everything we needed & then some, evening providing delicious pastries for our first morning. We look forward to returning there again! ”

“Stayed for 2 nights. Excellent location, just blocks from town. Easily walked if you're up for a slight up-hill return home! Very clean. The beds were comfy. The shower was hot. They had little extras on hand if you forgot things. I would recommend and would stay again. The only thing is that it is located on a main road and there is road noise if that is something that bothers you. We were not there during the day enough for it to be a problem.”

“This was our second stay at the purple house and we had a wonderful time. The location is quiet, and an easy walk to both the lake and the main street where most of the restaurants and stores are. The host is very nice and very responsive. The place had a lot of amenities as well.”

“My Daughter and I visited the area to tour Cornell University, Ithaca College, and to visit the area. We did not utilize the basement space and felt that we were very comfortable. We both have very sensitive allergies and appreciated that the sheets and towels were low scent, the water pressure was great, and it was the perfect weekend stay space for the 1 of us. We appreciated the thoughtful touches, extra sheets, pillows, blankets, etc. We booked to return in November for a follow up……

“The house was very clean upon arrival. A code was sent earlier in the day so entry was easy. Everything we needed was available. They also included coffee, creamer, water, snacks and lots of ice. “It's not often a property looks exactly like it's listing, but this one did not disappoint! I think the house and accommodations were even more beautiful than the pictures. The location was great! So close to many local wineries and breweries and a short walk down to the lake. We were pleasantly surprised to find a complimentary bottle of wine upon our arrival in addition to a basket of snacks and bottled water. There were even two bags of ice in the freezer!
