“We had an absolutely wonderful time, from pulling up in an epic lightning storm that we enjoyed on the porch to sitting on the rocking bench near the lake enjoying the water and swans nesting. My partner kayaked both days, while I lounged and enjoyed the excellent kitchen (remember to bring your own Tupperware/plastic wrap). It’s a delightful house and the hosts were so welcoming. Only thing to note is there are scented sheets and towels, so if scent sensitivity is an issue, bring some scent……

“Matt is a great host. Nice cottage with an up north feel. Kids loved the games, movies and playing by the lake. Colder temps so they couldn’t swim but just off the shore looks to be all sand.. Had a fire by the lake our second night. Definitely will return and do some fishing. Can’t beat the sunset off the lake whether your inside in the rocking chairs or sitting on the deck overlooking the lake. Great peaceful weekend! ”

“This home is charming, so well cared for, and stocked with everything you might need! You can tell that Mark and Libby love this home, and they have put their own stamp on it. Mark was a wonderful host, and I really appreciated him meeting me and showing me around the home so I was prepared for my stay. He was so easy to communicate with, especially when I, in an absent-minded moment, locked myself out of the house!I would 100% stay here again with no hesitation! It's near to all the amenities……

“We stayed here once before, and it was just as perfect as last time. The house has everything you could possibly want or need: Games, puzzles, ping-pong, table, kayaks. It has a view in every direction and lots of spaces together in smaller groups if you want. But possibly the best part is that it’s in the woods with no visible neighbors, and a view of the lake. Checking in and out with the host is super easy as well.”

“This is a wonderful house on Clark Lake. Beautifully decorated, very comfortable and well stocked in the kitchen and bathrooms. Truly one of the nicest rentals we’ve been in for a long while. Our only recommendation is that the owners deep clean the BBQ grill. We love to grill and cooked chicken on the grill one evening, noticed that it badly needed cleaning. But that’s it - a terrific house!”
