“We had a great mini-vacation at Bushy Creek this week. The house was perfect for our family of 6 (and a dog) and was very clean and seemed fairly updated. With 4 bedrooms, 7 beds, and an open living space, there was more than enough space for everyone in our family. There were large “smart” flatscreen TV’s in 3 of the bedrooms, as well as phone chargers and plenty of accessible outlets. Outside, there’s a great porch with ceiling fans and chairs, a nice patio and a fire pit where we had a fire……

“The cabin was amazing; very clean with everything we needed for our brief stay. A great re-model by the owners. Close to the Sipsey Wilderness/Bankhead National Forest where we enjoyed hiking. We fished off the dock at the cabin and enjoyed the beautiful view of Smith Lake, one of our favorite places to be. Near Chef Troy's Talk of the Town restaurant, very good food and service. Just a suggestion for the owners-you may want to mention the driveway being very steep and rutted. We were in a 4x4……

“My family and I stayed here over the week of Christmas as a family of 6, and had more than enough room. We originally planned for 8, and still would’ve had room. The home had an open concept with tall ceilings on the main level. Great woodsy/cabin meets the lakes vibe. Wrap around porches and jutted out windows to create reading nooks… very loved by this crew! We loved the movie room with the projector. We were able to connect our devices up and play movies/games through that, but there were……

“Beautiful, spacious home with amazing lake views! My family truly enjoyed our stay at Pittman Rock. The house was super clean and well appointed. We had everything we needed to make all meals, which was a plus considering not too many places DoorDash to the area. The only downside, in my opinion, is the steep driveway and gravel road leading to/from the property. Otherwise, everything was perfect!”
