“I liked it a lot but the only thing I didn’t like was that my room was very close to the highway so it was very noisy.”

“Forget the complimentary breakfast. Without further asking, the host at the reception does not refill bread and others. It's a bit pricey comparing to other similar places around San Luis Obispo. The room is okay.”

“You can see the sea and the beach from the balcony. It only takes 5-8 minutes to walk to the coastal corridor. Hurry up to the whole section. It has an open swimming pool and an open-air balcony. The parking is super convenient and the price is ideal.”

“The proprietors are Patels - they know how to run a great hotel/motel. Everything was great. Definitely do not book via Expedia, though -- just go to American Inn's website to book. Cheaper that way. And, Expedia is a horrible company! They will book you with hotels that do not honor the reservation! Expedia really sucks. That was my mistake - using Expedia. American Inn is great, though.”

“Very small rooms but clean and comfortable. Parking in front of rooms was nice to unload and load. Bed is small good thing we are average size couple;) it is very close to Main Street witch was nice too! I would definitely recommend for a quick get away. ”

“Friendly staff. Very close proximity to the beach, pier, shopping and restaurants. Once we checked in and parked our car we didn't use it the rest of our trip until we left. We walked around so much and loved that we didn't have to go looking for parking because it was that close!! We were both able to have drinks and not have to worry about driving or who'd be the sober driver. Our room was spacious, it had a king size bed, a microwave and a refrigerator with freezer. Check out was so easy and……
