“We loved everything!! Don’t be like me though, read the listing don’t just look at the pictures. We were surprised to find there’s a tenant downstairs, separate unit. When I went back to read the listing it was in there. My bad! But it ended up being fine! Loved the coffee, breakfast items, so thoughtful and the home was everything we needed! Thank you! ”

“We stayed here because I was working in Cedar Falls and in Ames and this was a good halfway point. It is so peaceful by the river and the host was very accommodating. My husband lives with a physical disability and doesn't handle stairs well; this place has no stairs and was very accessible and worked well for him. Our dog loved it too, plenty of green space. A lovely spot in a small town, one of our favorite stops. Thank You!”

Attached garage available for 2 vehicle especially nice for rain or Iowa's Winter weather. “We visited Ames to see a basketball game, and this charming VRBO near downtown Ames was the perfect home base for our trip! While the house retains its historic character, it's been beautifully maintained and offers all the modern amenities we needed. “We LOVED our stay! Our family is from Iowa Falls and we came back for the Riverbend Rally Fourth of July celebration. This place was perfect for us! We had three adults and it had everything we needed for our trip. Love that it’s in a quiet town away from all the action but also a very short drive away.
We had a very small issue that our host took care of immediately. I mean immediately! She came within minutes on a holiday evening! We were so taken care of while we stayed and it was stocked……
