“The only issue I have is, we were told is was only a mile from the lake but it was way more than that.”

“Family vacation . 6 adults 2 kids. Absolutely gorgeous location. You have beautiful mountain all to yourself . Then can walk to the town in a few minutes with great restaurants . So total privacy but then short walk to town. Beds comfortable. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. ”

“Fishing was great, sm mouth bass here with beautiful flat rocks that made it easy to get around. The surroundings were awsome with views of remnants of an old paper mill right across the river. You can watch tubers come down sacandaga river where it meets hudson river. When tide is low safe to swim definitely able to dip in pockest to get wet. Too cold still. “I liked it very much, the house was very nice and nicely decorated. Everything was there even washer and dryer. The view was so excellent and if it was warmer weather would have enjoyed sitting on deck overlooking the water. Location great, near markets, etc. I would rent again. Jan”

“The house was just as pictured! It was a short walk to restaurants, bars, the lake and shops!”

“Great house, great locaction and awesome host. We were in town for a show at SPAC and this property was close enough to walk to the venue. The house is very spacious, clean and has everything you need for a great stay. The host Mike was so nice and communicative. We will stay here agian and reccomend it to friends for sure.”

“Even though the weather didn’t cooperate, we had an amazing weekend enjoying the house and location. We went kayaking, built campfires, grilled barbecue and comfortably fit everyone in the family room to watch movies and sports! ”

“Que dire de cet endroit unique. Endroit bien situé entre le village du Lake George et Bolton landing et très silencieux. L’endroit était propre et accueillant. “ We were there for a rowing competition for my daughter and had rainy weather. It was great that you could walk into a mudroom area and have hooks to hang up our things before going into the main part of the house. The laundry was right there too so it was convenient. The kitchen was a good size and we had everything we needed to prepare food. The house is on a quiet street with easy access to downtown. Communication with the host was excellent. “The house was nice. It was a hassle to have to take your own sheets and towels. There was no heat on the lower floor (basement bedroom and bathroom) which is located next to the garage. They provided a stand up heater that didn't really help in the very cold weather. The bathroom was full size but it was very cold!! They advertised a outside grill but there was a foot of snow on the deck, so unable to use it. The sidewalks were very icy and slippery. I recommend they provide "ice melt" for……

“This rental was perfect for myself and my two daughters. Everything was exactly as described - lovely welcoming and modern decor, spotlessly clean, all systems functioning as they should. The backyard space was really a plus when the weather is good. Quiet neighborhood where we always felt safe. Seamless contact with owners made getting settled in and checking out easy. “What a wonderful and unexpected treasure. The hole is perfect. Clean a modern. Fire pit was an evening treat. Only a mile or so from SPAC. ”

“We rented this house for my son’s graduation from Skidmore College. Six family members and a dog stayed for the weekend. The place was perfect. Comfortable beds, well-stocked kitchen, and plenty of space (both indoors and outdoors) to relax. Easy check-in and check-out processes, and responsive management. The house is in a quiet neighborhood near walking trails, but amenities are close by. Easy access via back roads to Skidmore campus and SPAC grounds. We would stay here again.”
