“This was the first time i have stayed at an apartment as normal use hotels, but this maybe the way forward for me as a frequent traveler. It was like home from home with some very nice touches which whilst simple but milk in the fridge was great especially for the cup of tea in the morning. “Brilliant service. The young girl was helpful, caring and such a lovely person. The manager was lovely and chatty.food was really lovely and breakfast was brilliant the lady serving us breakfast couldn’t do enough, such a helpful person. Bed comfortable, nice room. “I got the single bedroom, it was compact with shared common toilet. There was a nice shower and sink in the room. Pillow was filthy with yellow stains. Single bed duvet. The bed being a single was cramped, probably not suit a 6ft or taller person. ”

“The purpose of my stay in Castle Cary was to go visit the Newt in Somerset.I was warmly greeted and thanks to Martin’s lifts to and from the Newt made it so easy.the house is amazing.the garden backs unto fields.It is idyllic. I recommend this B&B to anyone who loves a beautiful setting”
