“The hotel, location and the owners, everything was just amazing. You can see the snow-capped mountains and Lake Thun from the rooms and we loved it everyday while having coffee from our balcony. The hosts were very gracious. They not only provided us with recommendations but also lent us their jackets when we were going to visit Jungfraujoch saying that it might be cold up there. The whole stay felt very warm and welcoming and I’d highly recommend it.”

“I usually try to stay close to whatever transport hub I’m using. But the were no rooms available in Interlaken, so I had to look further afield and happened upon a gem I would never have expected to find. Set on the mountain side with a view of Lake Thun and the Jungfrau mountains right there in front of your own private balcony. An amazing view. The room was compact but very clean. My only quibble was that bed had a footboard which is always a problem for tall people. The bus stop is right……

“While the room and building was full of character and history, it was also well-equipped with plenty of space and storage for travellers. The common room for guests had snacks, tea, and coffee, as well as a large fridge. The location is great, a few minutes walk to Interlaken West station and very close to a convenience store. There's a bakery just next to the building and the Interlaken Flagship shop is just down the road.”
