“Charming cottage with lovely outdoor areas. Situated in a quiet neighborhood, very close to the Spanish Moss trail and a backyard full of marsh and wildlife. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and the bath was bright and clean. We would’ve given 5 stars except for the noise and lights at night from traffic on the other side of the marsh. Almost perfect”

“Just stayed two nites. Wonderful place so close to beach it didnt matter that it was second row! You must bring your own linens - sheets and towels, TP and tissues not provided either. Throws and conforters need washed, but could just be we were there out of season - prob not many recent guests. Floors, counters, baths were clean. We didnt cook there, but kitchen was very well stocked. Communication with owner was great.- highly reco.mend.”

“Beaufort, South Carolina is like a little Florida town. Right on the water, amazing people and amazing sites. If you are going to visit Paris Island, stay in Beaufort. Although when we stayed, the town was shut down because of ice and snow. The purple house that we stayed at, was amazing. Center of town, cozy little home. We will be staying here again.”

“My wife & I have stayed here multiple times, and enjoy the location (on little street running between Mossy Oaks and pretty Broad Street), the nice touches provided by the host (state park pass great for Hunting Island, supplies for kitchen & shower, the nice Christmas decorations on their main house and in the neighborhood, etc), and the value of the booking itself! The house is as shown in the listing, and it is small with flight of steps up to the apartment. There is room for two to eat at……

“Sunshine Cottage is a wonderful place to stay from the decor, location and amenities to the cozy look & feel of each room. Our family stayed the week of Christmas and I was able to cook and bake like I do in my home kitchen. Easy parking in front and loved having Hulu, Max, Peacock and Paramount channels on the TV.”
