“Great spot with tons of privacy. The fishing was awesome! Just a short boat ride from the ramp, and we spent most of our time in the cove catching crappie, bass, and catfish. We really enjoyed it! ”

“We had a fabulous time celebrating the multiple April birthdays in our family. The split level was ideal for early nappers and late-night board games. The site had various areas that you could visit and congregate. My sister and husband are building nearby, and we were able to go fishing and swimming at Sam Rayburn Reservoir. We plan on using this VRBO if it is available again!”

“This house was everything as advertised and more. The house was clean and was setup with all the needed amenities. The rooms were comfortable. We had 4 adults and the house was the perfect size for us. Also, we were able to entertain other guests without problem. The neighborhood was quiet. The rental is perfectly located, and is within walking distance to the shops and restaurants of downtown Nacogdoches. The owner is really nice and made himself available in case we had any issues checking……

“This was our second time to stay at the Downtown Gem. It was a girls trip to the Nac Wine Swirl. This house is perfect to visit downtown Nac. Convenient and walkable.”

“I was very impressed with the accomodations. I travel quite a bit for fishing trips, and the homes that I rent are hit and miss when it comes to being able to have the room to park my truck and boat and also have electrical hook ups to plug in the battery charger for the boat. This property was perfect. The house was spacious with enough rooom to easily sleep four people or more. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Lake Sam Rayburn. ”

“Everything was great with the property. Easy check-in and quick communication with owner. The living area, kitchen, and bedrooms were very spacious for our party of 3 adults and 2 small dogs. The single bathroom is large and has two sinks w/ mirrors. The pond with gazebo is a nice touch. We enjoyed feeding the ducks and walking the dogs around the pond.”

“We had a long weekend of crappie fishing! This little cabin in the woods was so relaxing! No boats zooming around in the lake, no traffic! Just peace! Pam was very responsive and so nice! Our coffee pot broke the first day we were there, she had a new one delivered to us by the time we got back from our fishing trip! Will definitely recommend to friends and family! ”
