“Check in was a breeze. It literally took 2 minutes. The room was stuffy upon entering but after we got the AC going the humidity was gone and it was comfortable. The musty smell dissipated as well. We enjoyed the pool. It was not crowded at all. It was also clean. The breakfast was good. Typical options of scrambled eggs, bacon, and country potatoes. “The home itself is great. It is renovated very nicely, the beds are comfortable, and it is in a very nice neighborhood. We had no complaints about the property. However, the check in process through the rental management company was the worst experience we’ve ever had. A brand new phone was needed to do the facial recognition that was required. “The location is great with a plethora of options close by, and a quiet neighborhood. The check in was alright and they responded quickly although when we first arrived there a bunch of dead roaches and a couple live ones. The water pressure in the shower is totally inadequate with it feeling like a slow drip from a faucet it takes forever to actually take a shower. “We stayed here while in Huntsville for a wedding (At the Shire) and it was perfect for kids. The main attraction of this property is the large amount of land and space for kids to roam. “We had a wonderful stay at this peaceful lakeside home! It was the perfect getaway for our family; quiet, relaxing, and surrounded by nature. We especially enjoyed kayaking, it was our first time, and such a fun experience! The nearby trail was beautiful for walks.
