“This small getaway cabin was everything we needed for a quiet lake inspired vacation. Kitchen was well stocked for our few meals in. The welcome book has a list of places to eat in the area which we tried for lunch. The pool was a relief on the hot afternoons and it wasn’t crowded. Our only regret was that beyond fishing and exploring the state park there wasn’t much to do nearby. ”

There is a boat launch just around the corner and it is an easy tie up at the dock. The owner communicated extremely well and offered a lot of help with my questions regarding the stay. A”

“When you get to the bed and breakfast you are greeted by the nicest gentleman Eric. Very accommodating and he will give you a historical tour of the property. The main house is simply beautiful with original fixtures and antique furnishings. Then he will show you to the cottage straight out of the late 1800’s with some added modern day conveniences. A front porch for relaxing. The next morning breakfast, it was absolutely delicious. Fresh fruit, biscuits eggs sausage coffee and fresh squeezed……

“The house was absolutely adorable. Loved the location and the yard was so wonderful for our 2 small yorkies! They loved having a place to go run around while traveling instead of just walking at a hotel. Couldn't decide which bedroom to use , they were both so attractive. “Great vacation with lots to do. The rental was very clean and stocked with many of the necessities needed. No need to bring hairdryer, shampoo/conditiner, toilet paper, paper towels they had it all. My hosts were very responsive to any questions I had. A few miles down the road is a Wal Mart, coffee shop and liquor store. We enjoyed fishing, paddle boarding, sunning on the lily pad, boat riding and more. Wonderful vacation experience! Hope to go back next summer. ”
