“This quaint property has so much to offer: location, fully stocked kitchen, plenty of room to spread out, fun games for adults (and kids), gorgeous front porch with plenty of comfy seating, great updates in kitchen and bathrooms, etc. My cousin said, "You're giving this a 5-star rating, right?" “This was our second stay at this home mostly do to the fact its close to other family, accepts pets, and has a private larger yard. We also like the old historical nature of the home. I mentioned on my previous review of the home needing some TLC. The home is still the same, no fixes that we can see from two years ago. Some things inside need fixing, but mostly the exterior wood trim,porches, and landscaping. I find it sad to see this Historical home roting away. There is so much potential. I……

“We stayed here for a family funeral in Gallipolis and couldn’t have asked for a better place. The house is clean, well-kept, and overlooks beautiful Raccoon Creek. The kitchen was fully stocked, so we were able to cook in. Two main-floor bedrooms were great for those who can’t do stairs, and there were plenty of linens. “Mr. Husson allowed me to check in a couple hrs. early-which he did not have to. The interior was clean and reasonably furnished. Price was reasonable for area. However, advertisement was misleading. Rental is for a floor/flat of a house. Not the whole house. Finished basement was rented to another party (who had a puppy that cried throughout the nights). Also, yard was trashy with litter strewn about.”

“Overall, the house is nice, though aged. It was very clean, so that was nice. The listing said it had 2 full and 2 half baths, but it only had 2 full. That was disappointing. The beds were decent, but that's the smallest queen my husband and I have ever shared. Not bad, but not excellent. ”
