“This was our second stay at Kaldbakur. We love the location and the view! And we especially appreciate the design elements of this house. Mr Sietz is a fabulous architect/designer! We cooked all of our dinners at the house. The kitchen is sufficiently supplied but you need to bring all food items except for salt/pepper. The bed is very comfortable and the hot pot a real treat! We hope to come back again.”

“The house is beautiful and well cared for, and a great home base for outdoor activities in the Grenivik area. It's a bit remote if you're exploring more regionally. I think we may have been the first visitors of the season so there were a few things overlooked (snow-blocked driveway, among others), but the owner was very responsive about issues. That said, if you're in a caretaker role, it's not a great fit. There's not a single comfortable seat in the house to sit and look out at the water. The……
