“Distance and career paths have kept our group (friends 40+ yrs.) from regularly gathering. Annually, we try to pick a place to stay for a long weekend, a round of golf, meals and catching-up. This year we found a perfect location! All was exactly as advertised. The pictures did not do this location justice. Scenic drive in, quiet, relaxing and a lake with a pier nearby. The home easily accommodated the three of us, but would serve equally well for 3 couples or a family. No amenity has been……

“Mixed group of 10, 30ish to 60ish, biking, hiking, kayaking , fishing (property has small floating dock) fireside chats, cook outs, book reading, bird watching, music playing etc. Access to the property is a very rocky rural road, but even FedEx can get there. lol The kitchen is really well equipped and in good order. The bedrooms and common areas are clean comfortable and well furnished. TV / Wifi / Wifi Calling all had great service. Highly recommend!”

“We recently stayed 4 nights at the Country Cottage cabin and found everything in excellent condition. There was plenty of parking for our boat trailers and the cabin itself was beautiful. The large deck and nearby fire pit had plenty of chairs. We would not hesitate to stay there again ”

“My partner and I enjoyed our 2 night stay in the River Cabin at River Mountain Farm. The cabin is teeny, nothing fancy but cozy and just as listed. Great shower in bathroom and Starbucks k-cups each morning. We had a straight shot past the barn and shed to the river where we took out 2 of the kayaks available and I caught 7 fish early Sunday morning. I didn’t want to leave the tranquility of this little slice of heaven. Would love to go back sometime!”

“The photos provided do not do this place enough justice. There is so much more to offer. The owners were not lying when they say all you need to bring is food. The seasoning/spice cabinet offers plenty, too! There are plenty things to do around the house for the entire family to not even have to leave the property. We did travel to a state park nearby and were able to use the kayaks Kate and Logan provided. We were skeptical at first because they stay close to the property, but you have full……

“came home for my sisters wedding and found this place to stay 8t was very quite and relaxing. beautiful house on beautiful property. very secluded but easy to get to. was away most of weekend for wedding festivities but woukd be great place to stay and just hang out for the weekend. will be back next time we need a place in the area”

“The property owners are fantastic people and made my prolonged stay a simple and easy process. They were very friendly and willing to work with me, I would book with them again and again! Place was awesome and very clean, had everything I needed and then some. The location is also beautiful being tucked away in the woods and by the lake.
