“We stayed here with family for Memorial Day weekend and were very impressed and looking forward to staying again in the future! The owners were very easy to communicate with. The house was extremely clean and accomodating! The owners thought of everything for their guests. We comfortably slept 11. The house was much bigger and very roomy than anticipated. The view of the lake was something one could get used to! The lake sat right across the street or a very short walk/drive to the beach.……

“Everything about our stay was perfect! We loved the cottage! It was perfect and had everything we could need. We had deer, chipmunks, squirrels, and even a turkey stop by. It was very centrally located near all the elk, parks and trails. Yet still a short distance from St. Mary’s and shopping. ”

“My family spend Thanksgiving at this gorgeous house on a beautiful and very secluded property. Everyone loved the house. It was spotless and the wood stove keeps it very warm. Daren went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. Highly recommend!”

“Very comfortable and well cared for. Spiral staircase to large upstairs bedroom. Wood floors shining. Property is on a dirt road which is a bit rough but also, no traffic past the lodge and a good place for a walk. Though we brought our own food, there was a lovely plate of apple cake,cookies and loaf of homemade bread waiting for on arrival that we enjoyed. A nice touch. Only negative was limited silverware and a sauce pan would be nice. Overall, an enjoyable stay. No tv or internet but I used……

“This house is gorgeous and well appointed. The listing says fully equipped kitchen. Be aware that there is no dishwasher. The ice maker did not work because the filter was clogged. The owner posted signs that said no food or drink in living room, bedrooms or basement game room. So you could not have your morning coffee looking out at the great views. The main issue was the water. Pressure was terrible upstairs and toward the end of our week the water failed entirely. A repairman came promptly……

“This cabin is absolutely adorable! We really enjoyed connecting with nature - there's several large state parks and trails nearby. We also are incredibly grateful we were able to take our dogs. Being able to bring our dogs with us is a make or break on a vacation like this. We wanted to be able to hike with them, let them run and explore! Peggy was able to accomodate our pups, and we did our absolute best to abide by her house rules while we were there. A note to owners with bigger dogs, our……
