“We found this location a great choice as a relaxing weekend for our group of college friends and their spouses. The only minor criticisms were that we did not locate the indoor pool mentioned in the description and there was no propane for the grill. A phone number I had previously been given to report problems by our POC turned out to be for emergencies only. “I rented the house to have a place to stay while visiting family from Virginia. The home was comfy and large enough to host my family of 8 and entertain extended family for a Thanksmas celebration. I didn’t find a shovel or salt which would have been helpful since it showed. I was also told it had 2 slow cookers, and couldn’t find either. “The Choo Choo Blue was a charming place to stay! Very clean and the host had some snacks and coffees there for us. There's a lot to do right there at Doolittle Station. Although we had a rainy weekend, so we didn't get to mini golf. The local movie theater was just a short drive away. Aegis Coffee shop was great, as well as the creamery and Railcar Pizza. “We enjoyed our stay at this home. There was plenty of room for visiting with family and playing games. Upstairs bedroom/TV room is a great place for kids while adults unwind downstairs in the main living area. There was some debris on the deck, with was understandable since there was a storm the night before our arrival. Overall, it was a great place for vacationing.”
