“The second bedroom was actually just a bed that was in a detached garage. Complete with a roll up garage door and items stored in there. We opted to sleep on the recliner. The house itself was awesome, but the lot was a bit unkept. LOVE the restaurant down the street. Ate there 3 times. ”

“We found everything was fine for our needs.we didn't spend a lot of time there as we were competing in an archery tournament our time at the house was primarily for sleeping. We were gone from early morniings till late evening we eat out but had a good kitchen if we choose to we would stay again ”

“My girls and I loved our stay!! Everything was meticulous and well thought out! I wish we could have stayed longer and/or had more time to enjoy the house - we had a pretty packed schedule when we were in town. I hope to be back and enjoy the relaxing scenery in the future and not be "on the go"! Everything was very clean and beautifully decorated. We were given the option to arrive early, however our schedule did not allow for that - the gesture was nice and appreciated, though! ”

“Beautiful private lot with a great yard and plenty of parking. Kitchen was stocked well and the bathrooms and bedrooms were clean and laid out well. We enjoyed seeing wildlife in the backyard ( a beaver and bunny visited). Was a great experience. ”

“The Hogback Hideaway was awesome. Very clean and roomy inside, and of course tons of space outside which made you feel like you were alone on the mountain. Very peaceful and relaxing. Host was easy to communicate with and ensured we had everything we needed. Our group had a great time and we would certainly come back. Top notch! Thank you for a great stay. ”

“The house was perfect for a family weekend. The coffee bar was perfect and much appreciated! Plenty of space and quiet. Would definitely stay again if in the area.”

“This was our third visit. The home was clean and ready for us. The bathrooms were well stocked with towels and hot water for our showers. The dogs loved the fenced-in yard as well. This house has great space for multiple people to feel comfortable. The kitchen is a good open space with a great river view. We will stay again!”

“Off the beaten path, property was clean, missing a few cooking essentials, but overall, owner responded quickly. Neighbors was very nice. Nice view of the river. Would have loved to us the firepit, but it was under water. River was high this time of year.”

It didn't feel at all like a rental house, it felt like we were staying in someone's home. Everything was immaculate, and the hosts went above and beyond to provide everything you could possibly need. It is kid friendly, which we really appreciated, including a baby gate to block the basement stairs and even had a safety rail to put on the loft bed which we were very happy to……
