“We just spent a week at this wonderful home overlooking beautiful northern Lake George. The bedrooms were nice, the kitchen nicely updated, and the main room and deck were the ideal setting for a reunion of old friends and our young families. Highly recommend!”

“We checked in Friday night around 6pm and the driveway and property was very dark with no lights on. Once we entered the house we attempted to turn the outside light on but it didn’t work. The bedrooms downstairs were freezing. We couldn’t locate a thermostat anywhere downstairs.We assumed that meant the heat downstairs was controlled by the upstairs thermostat but it didn’t specify separate zones so we were confused. I went through the welcome book to make sure there wasn’t something we were……

“House was clean, well appointed and we loved that the fur babies could come! The property was overgrown, but we were there before the real “season” hits. Our immediate concerns were dealt with right away. My only real complaint is if you have a boat trailer and/or more than one vehicle, parking on the steep hill is unpleasant and you’re constantly moving vehicles. But that could just be us. We parked our boat trailer at a friend’s house in town. I loved the a/c and docks. And the view is……

“Great location - the teens could ski at Killington and Pico and the family could relax in the evening. Off leash dog park walkable from the house. Spotless and clean. Living room space very comfy. Would stay again. ”

“This was our second stay at this property. We chose it last year due to its convenient location and chose to stay this year because we liked it so much. It's spacious, clean, and has everything we need for a 9 day stay. Located in Mendon on Route 4, it's just 10 minutes to Pico-Killington, less than 5 minutes to Route 7, and no more than 10 minutes to downtown Rutland. ”

“The house is situated on a beautiful lot with a man-made pond and apple orchards. The house itself is a little weary. Much of the furnishings are thrift store finds and could use some refreshing. We had issues with the WIFI right from the start and there is poor to no cellular service depending on where you are in the house. Communicating with a property management company was extremely frustrating as you are passed off from one representative to another as well as receiving multiple text……

“This home in Brandon is a real gem! Absolutely perfect for our 3 generation get-together — clean, comfortable, beautifully furnished and decorated with fantastic kitchen and living spaces too. Great location in town with short walk to market when we wanted to eat in, or restaurants when we chose to eat out. Definitely recommend!”
