“Wonderful stay at Carolyn’s Cottage. House was spotless on arrival and beautifully decorated. Comfy beds, nice towels and linens. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you could want. The deck off the family room has nice furniture for outdoor dining and a great grill. The star of the show was the beautiful yard and lakefront. Great views and sunrises. The Adirondack chairs and fire pit were lovely for morning coffee and evening wine. Also super convenient to town if you find you need to shop……

“We checked in Friday night around 6pm and the driveway and property was very dark with no lights on. Once we entered the house we attempted to turn the outside light on but it didn’t work. The bedrooms downstairs were freezing. We couldn’t locate a thermostat anywhere downstairs.We assumed that meant the heat downstairs was controlled by the upstairs thermostat but it didn’t specify separate zones so we were confused. I went through the welcome book to make sure there wasn’t something we were……

“Stayed with my husband, my best friend and her husband. House is set up great we were able to comfortably be together. Hang out and have a great time without being cramped at all. Communication with Marc and Alison is great. They are very nice to deal with even dropping off a hand mixer when I inquired if they had one. I was willing to bring one, but they dropped one off for us. Which was above and beyond.”

“Overall, stay was very good. One small thing that wasn’t clear was the mooring for the boat. It was not directly in front of the dock at all I thought I might have to use one of the neighbors if it was necessary. Fortunately, it did not become necessary because the folks that stayed on the property right on the water did not have a boat The only other thing I think is worth mentioning for people who have Boats is that your water inlet is directly in front of the dock and may be an obstruction……
