“While they have no control over the major lightning storm that took place while we were there, they did provide a safe and cozy environment for us to watch the light storm as it boomed and lite up the sky overhead. We were able to open the hidden bookshelves and watch the light show from the store front window. The only advice I would give is come with an umbrella or rain coat for unexpected weather and a portable fan as it is humid and hot outside and in the loft in the summer.”

“This property is very nice and conventiently located near the historic Abraham Lincoln House, Museum and Presidential Library. The architecture of the home is stunning and the modern touches make it a great place to spend the night. We enjoyed our stay. ”

“Property was just as described. We had everything we needed. The carport was a big bonus for us because it was raining heavily throughout our stay, and we appreciated staying dry while loading/unloading our vehicle. Owner responds quickly to questions. Location was great for us Decatur natives with proximity to grocery stores, big box stores, restaurants, parks and banks. It was even close to the funeral home we were using. Neighborhood was quiet. HVAC system and water heating were also great.”
