“This was our 2nd visit to the Lodge, and it was a fantastic adventure again. We are older women, and 3 in our group decided to all sleep downstairs in order to avoid navigating the stairs, so I had the loft all to myself. “GREAT location in the heart of downtown Salem. The property is basically an older style two-bedroom apartment with great high ceilings and two huge windows in the living room. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom and show was terrific. It's definitely an older unit, but very comfortable and clean. The unit also had a washer (very old. needs to be replaced) and a dryer that came in handy.The owners live across the hall. We met them and they couldn't have been nicer and more helpful.……
