“Driving up to the site it looked clean, well maintained and visually pleasing. It is on a very busy roadway, but our room was at the back of the site and it was quiet. The check-in process was friendly and quick. Eac room has a patio and we thought our room would have a river view but about half of the rooms actually face a parking lot. Our room was one with a parking lot view. Entering the building that our room was located in was a little bit of a let down. The carpets and interior were well……

“We have stayed several times at this clean, well-equipped, attractively decorated ADU in a quiet suburban setting. Our only problems were: 1) Entry information was too last-minute; 2) We were unable to get the television system operating. These issues were not enough to stop us from renting again, however. It's a good value and a pleasant stay!”

“We very much enjoyed our stay at Portland Sanctuary! It was myself, my husband and my toddler. It was a large space, and had everything we needed. The kitchen was especially convenient and having basics like oil and spices made it so we could easily prepare a few meals. Beds were quite comfy too. My son loved the chickens in the yard! Only negatives were that the heaters are low to the ground and can get hot to the touch so I had to be careful which ones were on when my toddler was ”

“This house was just right. It had all of the amenities we needed to make our stay comfy, and it is right on the beach. The house was clean and had plenty of room for my family to sleep and hang out watching a movie and playing games. I would stay here again. ”

“We really enjoyed our stay. Patrick was a delight and the hosts have thought of every possible detail. The room was very cozy. We did not get a chance to enjoy the ocean views, sit on the deck or enjoy the amazing library. I recommend strongly if you stay there to take the time to enjoy these amazing amenities offered! Would definitely brook again ”

“The location to Crater Lake was perfect. Quiet, peaceful and beautiful. Comfortable for the two of us. Bed slept good. Good pillows and plenty of towels. Only negatives would be outside door didn't stay shut so always had to lock it to make it close and took forever for hot water to come to shower. Overall a great place to stay!”

“This is a perfect place for a single or couple to sleep, shower, and get ready for the day. I think it's a full bed, so if you're super tall it might be an issue. Great for the price; the accommodations are low-end hotel quality and could cost 50% more and still be a good deal. Minor, minor issues for the hesitant: - thin walls and a slight lack of privacy- there were drainflies around the shower and a single gnat in the blinds. - the neighborhood is a little sketchy, especially late at night.……

“The stay was great. It was pretty much perfect for our stay. It was very clean and felt exclusive enough. Would stay again for sure. As per other reviews, stairs were very steep. Tread lightly, especially while wearing socks. And do wish there was a real kitchenette. We missed that part of the listing but it worked out. ”

“This was just what we needed- a quiet respite away from the city. Waking up and smelling that crisp fresh air was refreshing. The hosts were very helpful in helping us decide what vineyards to visit and the recommendations were excellent. ”
