“Very unique stay in a historic property. Our host made check in easy and communicated promptly throughout our reservation. The property was perfect for a wedding weekend where we could hang out together while waiting for events. Several restaurants within walking distance. Our host gave detailed recommendations and provided useful tips and information throughout the house so you didn’t have to guess on anything. By far my best VRBO experience EVER. The "lodge" was spacious, close to the airport, and worked perfectly for our group, providing plenty of room for both family and groomsmen to have their own space. The lakefront was a highlight - fishing and kayaking were enjoyed by all - and the open layout made it an ideal setting for our rehearsal dinner of 45 people. “Loved having a whole house. Master bedroom on first floor along with the full bath. The upstairs has the two other rooms and a half bath. Our older teen kids enjoyed having the upstairs to themselves, and having a half bath was a bonus for getting ready in the morning. The A/C is window air conditioners, which worked fine. FYI the master bedroom downstairs does not have an A/C unit, but it was cool enough by keeping the door open to the living room (which had the A/C unit) and running the……
