“Very spacious and clean. ”

“When we arrived, the property had not been cleaned from the previous visitors. It was a pretty perfect space once the sheets and towels had been washed and the dishes and trash had been taken care of. Other than having to do all the cleaning ourselves, we enjoyed the space and the convenience of being close to the ski resort. It was fairly private and we got to see some interesting wildlife (a bear was right next to us!). If you are expecting to come when it snows, make sure you can drive……

“Clean and quaint location. Loved it!”

“Short term..if no more than 3 days, it would be pretty decent. Longer definitely not. Owners were responsive, property was very clean, but very outdated! Couch needs to be replaced…it sinks in. And there is no full size refrigerator!! Not convenient when you are staying for longer than two days, in which we stayed for almost 2 weeks. Also had to take our laundry off site bc we couldn’t find the laundry mat (even after talking to the owners.) You will also need to take your trash to de disposed……

I left before the sun was up and returned after it went down so I can't give much info on the area. The cabin was just what I needed, a place to sleep and shower and I love the dog! ”

“I was very excited to stay at this mountain cabin for a quick weekend ski trip to Beech Mountain. Based on the description on VRBO, there was a bonus room, a working sauna, and beautiful pictures of a cozy clean cabin.From the moment we arrived it was a disaster. We walked in the cabin and there was no heat, it was about 50 and everything was unplugged and off. We started trying to plug in some space heaters that were provided and turn on the baseboard heaters because that was all that we had………

“We really enjoyed this house. It was smaller than anticipated but no big deal. The tvs were small in the bedroom and the living room tv needs to be replaced. It only worked on amazon prime and if you touched the wrong button it would freeze. There was mold on the shower linens and the host replaced them very quickly. Front desk staff was friendly outside of the rqcist older guy who refused to speak to us. ”

“Wonderful location, very nice small place as a good home base to explore the area. Only complaint was inability to change the heat due a broken nob on the unit. Otherwise, very sweet experience.”
