“I enjoyed the peacefulness of the property. The hot tub was clean and very relaxing at night, stargazing. I would recommend this cabin to anyone looking to get away from it all.”

“The property was clean, there were "instruction" or "reminder" cards throughput the house to help you navigate or how to work something. We really enjoyed our stay here. ”

“We live on the NC Coast and travel to the Boone area several times a year. We have stayed at many homes and this one was at the top of the list. Its central location to Boone, Bowing Rock and Banner Elk was ideal. The home was very comfortable with its mountain decor and updated kitchen. Can't wait to return!”

“Peaceful and relaxing place to enjoy with family or friends. If you travel with your dog this is a great place for a canine companion. It is convenient to Lake James and great options for hiking.”

“Even though the weather wasn’t great, the cabin was clean and cozy. Screened in porch was so nice to just sit, read and enjoy the rain. We were hoping to get to use the fire pit outside but winds prevented that. Will keep this on our list of places to stay in the future.”

“Took a quick weekend getaway with my pup, the home is very comfortable and cozy and rustic which is just up my alley! Really enjoyed the solitude but felt quite safe if there were any surprises. Very nice hiking trails within 20-30 min drive, but there’s also a lot of nature and exploration opportunities on the property so it’s really unnecessary to leave at all if you have your food. Highly recommend!”

“This place is well situated and has a nice side yard and porch. Close to a river, we went down about 10 min just pulled off the road and the kids played there for a few hours. The house is nice and has plenty of things for cooking. Overall it was great! There were 24 of us.We did have some issues. The place looked like it wasn't tended too often. It was well cleaned!, but maintenance wasn't the best. The washer didn't work, but I'm sure it will be fixed soon. The downstairs tub/shower couldn't……

“First the property was as represented -- this has not always been my experience. It is not exactly close to anything, but then not that far from lots of stuff. We fished in Tenn, one hour; Grandfather Mt, 30 min; Blowing Rock about an hours; drive on Parkway, 10 min.; Little Switzerland, 30 minutes; ate at Louise's Rockhouse, 15 minutes. With gate fell secure leaving stuff at the house when away. Definitely consider renting again.”

“Very tranquil, clean, and peaceful property. Great place to be away from the "wired" world. Definitely reccomend this place but be sure to have an accurate door code prior to arrival.”

“Our stay at Yes, Deer was absolutely perfect! As first-time visitors to Beech Mountain, we couldn’t have asked for a better location—close to all the activities we wanted to do while still offering amazing privacy on a tucked away road. There was deer every time we looked outside, the kids toys were such an added bonus & we received snow one day! Some restaurants were closed for season but that didn’t bother us at all because the crowds were minimal. With so many kid-friendly activities nearby,……

“Spent birthday with family and twin sister, including 88 year old mother. Plenty of room to spread out. Quiet, peaceful surroundings. Spent much of the time sitting on the back porch which overlooked a small waterfall. A little piece of heaven.”
