“Great place with a beautiful deck and view of the lake!”

“The house was large and airy, and immaculate. The kitchen was very well-stocked with every kind of utensil, pot, pan, and dish. We enjoyed watching humming birds, turkeys, deer, chipmunks, herons, goldfinches, mourning doves, and squirrels. The yard was large enough for leisurely walks with our dog, and although we didn't use it, the fire bowl was beautiful. I can't recommend this rental enough!”

“We were a small group going to a larger family reunion. The location was fantastic as we were 5 minutes away from the park where the reunion was being held. Didn’t need lake front, just a comfy place to sleep and kick back after fun filled days! Great supper club down the road for a Friday fish fry!”

“We spent a week with our family and the cabin was absolutely perfect! The weather was not the greatest lots of rain and storms, but we made the most of it. Caught plenty of fish right from the dock and also from our boat. Enough fish for two fish fry’s for 6 people. Skied, tubed and kayaked in between the rain. The view and water frontage can not be beat! The kids loved having their own space in the bunkhouse. Peggy was very accommodating and quick to answer any questions we had. The only thing……

“One of the best places we have stayed! The cabin is stunningly beautiful. The pictures do not tell the story, this is a place you have to experience. Very private, right on the water, nature everywhere. We had geese and deer in the lawn, hummingbirds flying around, turtles all around the docks. Place came with 3 kayaks and a paddle boat. The fishing was out of this world. After 4 days we lost count in the 70s. We caught crappie, bluegill, perch, and bass. DNR says no bass in lake...but we caught……

“Home was in a perfect location on a wooded lot. Home was well stocked and clean. Would definitely stay there again. ”

“We had a wonderful week at the Grouse Haus. The house is large and well maintained. The kitchen is well stocked. The views out the window are beautiful. The lake is shallow by the pier so a large boat might not be able to dock but it's perfect for launching kayaks or canoes. the lake is quite large and the Elk River is beautiful. we really enjoyed kayaking and exploring the river and inlets on the lake. Saw many loons and enjoyed listening to their calls. There are neighbors on both sides, but a……
