“This little cabin was perfect for our trip. The beds were cozy and comfy me and my husband both slept great. It’s right on a small lake where we kayaked. We plan to be back with the kids. Also the campground itself was the most peaceful campground we’ve ever been to, we had the windows open the whole time and never heard a peep from the neighbors. ”

“Very nice accommodations with nice surroundings by the river. It was so quiet at night and no nearby road traffic to bother either. We enjoyed visiting Timm's Hill and Big Falls County Parks, which were recommendations from our host. ”

“This little cabin was just right for our weekend getaway. The morning view off the lake alone are worth it. The only thing i will say is that the parking situation is a bit tight due the cabin being in an RV park. I don't believe we would have been able to get our truck and boat parked there. Otherwise, its a perfect little cabin getaway. Very, very quiet, peaceful atmosphere. ”

“We had a wonderful week at the Grouse Haus. The house is large and well maintained. The kitchen is well stocked. The views out the window are beautiful. The lake is shallow by the pier so a large boat might not be able to dock but it's perfect for launching kayaks or canoes. the lake is quite large and the Elk River is beautiful. we really enjoyed kayaking and exploring the river and inlets on the lake. Saw many loons and enjoyed listening to their calls. There are neighbors on both sides, but a……
