“Excellent property for a family. It was exceptionally well equipped in kitchen and bathrooms, spacious, multiple bed options, lit stairs and had candy! Laundry was super quiet and convenient as we were there for sports tournament. Only area of improvement is Internet was a bit spotty. Would not hesitate to recommend this property. We travel lots and this property definitely enhanced our stay! ”

“The place was spotless and the owners provided several extra touches like freshly roasted coffee beans. The only reason we didn’t give a 5 star rating is because the property description said there was a washer and there wasn’t. We were on a long trip and selected places with washers. The owner offered to wash our clothes but we didn’t feel comfortable doing that. Otherwise it was great. ”

“Had the entire upstairs. Place was clean, bright and roomy. Had other family in town and lots of room for visiting with them. Located on a quite street with lots of places for parking.”

“The property is clean and quiet. It's a bit far away from the Downtown area but is very close to Cordova Bay and Elk lake. The manager / owner is kind and helpful. The owner might not be reachable over call at times but is helpful in person.”

“We had a good stay at Roxie’s retreat. The outdoor space in the backyard was nice to sit out and soak up some sun. We were a bit surprised to find the ‘third bedroom’ was just the basement with a pullout couch as the photos made it appear at a glance to be a bedroom with a proper bed (I suppose a closer look at the photos would reveal it’s a pullout couch so that’s on me). There were a few cobwebs in my bedroom and the couches in the living room have seen better days. The stay was priced fairly……

“Corrie was superb! We asked for rice cooker and some more pots and she was quick to bring in requested stuff, didn't even take 5min. Very responsive and easy to communicate with. The place is close to Sidney by the Sea and pier which we love hanging out to. Highly recommended and we would love coming back!”

“This is a garden level suite in a family home. Clean, well maintained and exactly as shown in the posting. Great size and located in a quiet, pleasant part of Sidney. Family with a small child upstairs so they are up early. But as a parent that wasnt a huge concern for me. Would stay agsin.”
