“Don't be daunted with the fact that there isnt a grocery store or ATM in Gimmelwald! There are 2 bars across the street with pizza and drinks. A quick cable car to Murren for a Food Co-op or cable and bus to Lauterbrunnen for another Co-op which both have all you need is easy!The views, the peaceful quiet is amazing! All one hears are the bells of goats/cows. Love Love this place! comfortabnle, and very clean! Very attentive, manager onsite when we arrived! Highly recommend! ”

“Voici un gîte que je recommande. Très pratique, dans une commune avec des commerces et une gare. Les alentours sont magnifiques sans être touchés par le sur-tourisme. Je me suis régalé sur mon vélo ! J'ai été très bien reçu. Le gîte est situé dans un coin très tranquille, au bord d'une route en impasse et très peu fréquentée.”

“Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung war bequem und gemütlich. Die Kinder konnten super mit dem Hund spielen und haben sich sehr über die Baby Kätzchen und Lämmer gefreut. Die Lage fanden wir sehr gut: im grünen aber nicht zu abgelegen.”

“Elisabeth and Fritz are lovely hosts, very friendly and helpful. They even sold us eggs and fresh farm milk. The farm is spick and span, and we were welcome to explore the surroundings. We would stay at Altoesch again anytime! Eve”
