“Late Oct 2024 Karen was so nice and gave us very accurate information on hiking areas nearby. It was also easy to check in. The cabin was cute and clean. We spent a lot of time by the fireplace while enjoying the view of the lake. The kitchen was fully stacked. Was even provided fresh water, coal for the grill, and firewood for the pit. We would definitely stay again. ”

I couldn’t remember the last time we’d been somewhere that doesn’t have the constant subtle hum of a fridge or electricity. This cabin has everything you truly need and the hosts are so thoughtful. We felt safe, happy and proud of ourselves for the tech break! Beautiful river front and trails right in front of you. Wonderful!”

“This little spot in the woods is such a nice retreat. The lens window at the apex of the Yurt and the stove are more enjoyable than TV and the owls and grouse and nuthatches and chikadees and frogs are the best sounds for relaxing. The red squirrels were the comic relief. This year the nicer weather meant a few more ATVs on the adjacent trail but they stop when it gets dark, mostly, and the fence and tree screen make all but the noise of them easy to ignore.”

“We rented this home the past weekend for an early Easter celebration. We had 7 adults and a 1 1/2 year old child that stayed at the house. My parents, who live 3 miles away, came to visit. Everyone was comfortable and enjoyed all the amenities. The host was very responsive. Very close to Giants Ridge. It was nice that they had a secure baby gate in the house but note, if you have young children the outside area was a little hard. That being said, it is early spring. Would definitely rent this……
