“Treasured family traditionThis was my 5th time staying at the Bensons' cabin. As always, it was amazing. We live only a half hour or so away, but don't have our own lake place. Our annual stay at Clearwater provides us many northern Minnesota lake memories. We especially love rowing and stand up paddle boarding, and my girls have really gotten into fishing the past couple of years (this time my older daughter added a nice bass to our sheetpan seafood "boil"). “If I could give more stars I would! This is a total experience. The hosts are so friendly and helpful. They are so happy to share their piece of paradise with others. If you want to get away from it all, this is the place. Birders, this is located in the bog with great birds waiting right outside your door! Walk down to the bridge and watch herons and beavers near the Whiteface River.”
