“Very lovely remote cabin in the woods. We were there because of the fall colors and photographing waterfalls. We were about 9 miles to the nearest town, Mellen, WI. And there was a gas station and grocery/hardware/liquor store in Mellen. The place was very clean. We always do our own cooking and the kitchen was fully stocked. Plenty of room for the two of us. I slept on the very comfortable and unique pull-out couch and my girlfriend slept in the bedroom on the king size bed, which was very……

“It was a great property with minimal traffic and quiet neighbors. Lots of room for a dog to run around. Great cabin that was clean and had all the amenities we needed. Would definitely go back! ”

“Overall impressions in these categories: House: Beautiful. Big enough for our group of 13, kids and adults. Kitchen is more than great. Screened porch is better than good. Dining area large enough we could all eat in the same area. Rec room including table tennis was used a lot.Water: Fishing was slow but that's no one's fault. Kayaks were used a lot everyday. The shallow sandy bottom was amazing for our kids to play and swim in. The dock held our two boats easily. Stairs to water are not……

“This cabin was exactly what I was looking for. Nice lake, no skiers, great deck, good beds, good pier, all the kitchen hardware you could need and just a cute, cozy atmosphere about the whole thing. If I had one negative thing to say it would be that the owner requires you take your garbage with you. I REALLY don’t like added requirements put on me after I get there. Put it in the listing. ”

“It was perfect for what we were looking for. Not too far from town- Boulder Junction is a very cute/nice town. The cabin itself was clean and the screened in patio was definitely a nice addition. There is great variety of DVDs but I did not see any games, I would suggest guests bring some games for a rainy day. Overall, it was a very nice stay. ”
