“I agree with another reviewer who mentioned that the views are even better than the photos in the listing. The property is in a quiet area with a bus stop right out front for convenience. The kitchen was well equipped and the bed was comfortable. Overall, very happy with our stay and would book again.again”

“This villa is spectacular. The inside is so airy and bright. Everything was super clean. The rental agency did some grocery shopping for us at no extra charge. They were very responsive on whatsapp. The bedrooms were large and the beds were very comfortable. The patios and pool deck were amazing. Highly recommend and would return. ”

“We had a wonderful stay in Ischia with our family. There were 9 of us and the villa was perfect. It was a great location near the port, Fiorenzo was very helpful throughout our stay. The grounds of the property were amazing with awesome views in all directions. We enjoyed the sauna, pool and grill. A great time was had by all!”

“This house was a perfect home base from which to explore the island. Francesco was very helpful, even arranging for a taxi to take us from the port to the house. It’s an easy walk to Ischia Ponte (if you don’t mind a couple of hills!), which has great restaurants and shops, and of course, Castle Arogonese. Easy bus or taxi access to see the rest of Ischia. We loved our stay at il Lauro Villa and would definitely stay here again!”

“The pictures, incredible as they are, don't do this place justice! Staying here is having your own private, welll-cared for, exotic ocean-font retreat.Between the infinity pool and hot tub both overlooking the ocean, we could have never left the property and had a fantastic and satisfying time on our first trip to the island of Ischia, but one of the other best parts of this listing, is precisely its location on this delightful island.While here, definitely rent a smart car or scooter, or……

“We just left Ischia after our first visit. As a family of four with two adults and two children, 3 and 7, this was a fantastic place to stay. The photos accurately represent the property. The views are as stunning as you see in the pictures, but of course better in person! They include all of the basic amenities needed and even did some light shopping for us before we arrived so we had some extra necessities for the kids. Check in was easy. Note that you have to pay 2/day in tax in cash. The……

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Turchese. The check in process was very smooth & the staff were very helpful in providing recommendations and arranging our groceries, transfers and scooter hire. In our opinion a scooter is the best way to get around the island and there is plenty to see and do. There are a few great restaurants within walking distance, we really enjoyed La Meridiana on the beach front and Di Meglio pizzeria. Forio also has many great restaurants, which is a 45 min walk……

“The house has most of what you might need for a great family holiday 5 minutes’ walk from a wonderful golden beach. The host is helpful and flexible. Lacco Ameno (the nearby town) can be reached on foot in 15 minutes but a rental car comes in handy if you don’t have patience to wait for buses. ”
