“We thought it was a lot of house for the money. Kitchen was well appointed and easy to navigate. House was quirky but we enjoyed it. Especially enjoyed hiking on the nearby trail. Also recommend the cable museum,,and a visit to Brigus. One should also know that Bay Roberts has all the stores etc,,but no downtown section and there is a fairly busy road in front of the house.”

“This property was an exceptional find. Exactly as advertised but with a view more spectacular than imagined. Very clean property with all the necessary amenities. The cottage was extremely comfortable and spacious with exceptionally beautiful bedrooms with loads of closet space. We were very well located to enjoy all the nearby villages such as Bay Roberts and Harbour Grace. We had exceptional weather which put the icing on the cake on our trip. “To begin with, the residence is one of the best we've ever stayed in. The home is warm, charming and eclectic while being up to date with every convenience. We felt so welcomed by the towns people that we were able to join right in with the local activities - very fun, indeed. If you never leave Norman's Cove, there's plenty to do with several hiking trails and endless shores to wander. We found a jut of rock over the water just North of the cove where we could watch the whales come in at dinner……

“This home was in an ideal location to venture out to various sites. Everything you need for your stay was there. Although the stairway going upstairs was narrow, we were aware from other reviews about it. I am over 6’ tall so the double beds weren’t ideal but we still slept well. I was already aware of the double beds before we arrived. We only had our breakfasts there so we didn’t use the kitchen for our other meals. The owner, Jeff responded quickly to a question we had. We enjoyed our stay in……

This house was so cute. The owner thought of every little detail to make our stay comfortable. She personalized it with a Happy Anniversary banner. We loved our stay here!”

“We stayed at Harry's Place for two months and cried when we left. It is like staying with Nan and Grandpa if they had updated appliances. It feels warm, secure, and comforting. The property managers live right next door and are very helpful but not obtrusive. We enjoyed the deck with the view of the harbor and mountains in the distance, but what was best was the view from the world's most comfortable couch where you could look out at the ever-changing weather. The decor is homey with vintage……

“My wife, her two sisters and their 91 year old mother stayed for 5 days to visit family nearby.All enjoyed their stay and the accomodation, especially with the close proximity to the bay. Kelsi was very communicative and timely in our communications”
