“The cottage is cosy, clean and very inviting. Shiskine is a wonderful place to stay, quiet and very appealing. It's very close to Blackwaterfoot, which is beautiful. The Kinloch Hotel does marvellous meals (takeaways too). What really makes the stay worthwhile is the landlady, Jan. Last year, when we couldn't get off the island due to ferry problems, Jan put us up for an extra with no charge. “We had such a lovely trip! The cottage was beautiful, clean and very cosy. There was everything that youd need or want including board games, tv, access to local ammenities ect. It was a huge bonus for us that the host allowed our dogs to stay too, they are a huge part of our family so getting to take them made our trip extra special. The garden at the cottage was beautiful too.The beds were so comfortable, usually i have trouble sleeping if im staying somewhere new- this wasnt a problem at……

“A home away from home. Our second stay at this fantastic lodge within 3 months. Our first trip was as a family with 3 young children and the most recent trip with my father and sister. Everything you could need ever need inside and outside from children’s colouring and games to condiments to views of the sea and the most beautiful starry nights.
